Parental Leave

You have an entitlement under the Parental Leave Directive to up to 13 weeks’ unpaid leave in the first 5 years of a child’s life (or the first five years following adoption), where you take parental responsibility. This currently only applies to children born after 15 December 1999. More details can be obtained from the JBB office.
