Families who have been affected by the death of a parent in the Force can sign up to The Police Children’s Charity now and apply to receive financial support without the usual 12-month wait, thanks to a limited-time amnesty.
The Police Children’s Charity, formerly the St George’s Police Children Trust, has been running the amnesty throughout April and May, but it will end on 30 June.
For this limited period, those who are eligible can start subscribing to the charity and immediately apply for financial support.
