The last 12 months have certainly been challenging for police officers and the police service as a whole.
But we have all risen to the challenges put before us and will continue to do so. Policing is more than a job, it is a way of life and one that we have all chosen so that we can serve our communities. As a Federation, we thank you for your commitment to policing.
The festive season should give us all a chance to spend some time with our families and friends, even if many officers will actually be working at least part – if not all - of the Christmas and New Year period.
