The Police Federation’s 2022 pay and morale survey closes on Monday (3 October) and Staffordshire members are being urged to take part.

This year the survey has been combined with the demand, capacity and welfare survey to provide a comprehensive picture of the realities of policing and comes after the Force’s performance was strongly criticised in an HMICFRS report.

Branch chair Lee Robinson said: “It’s vital that we capture the voice of our members and their experiences so that we can campaign effectively on their behalf.

“The survey will give us a picture of the realities of policing and the issues facing our members – and the more members who complete it the more comprehensive that picture will be.

“We can take that evidence to police chiefs, police commissioners, and the Government when we’re campaigning for fair pay and conditions.

“So if you haven’t had a chance yet, please make some time over the weekend and have your say before Monday’s deadline.”
