The findings from the annual pay and morale survey will help the Police Federation’s campaigns for better pay and conditions.
That’s the message from Staffordshire branch chair Lee Robinson as he urged members to complete the survey.
This year the survey has been combined with the demand, capacity and welfare survey to provide a comprehensive picture of the realities of policing.
It aims to capture members’ views and experiences on pay, morale and welfare, and to support the Federation’s ongoing campaigns to improve pay and conditions.
There are just days left until the deadline on 3 October.
Lee said: “It’s vital that we capture the voice of our members and their experiences so that we can campaign effectively on their behalf.
“The survey will give us a picture of the realities of policing and the issues facing our members – and the more members who complete it the more comprehensive that picture will be.
“We can take that evidence to police chiefs, police commissioners, and the Government when we’re campaigning for fair pay and conditions.
“So please have your say.”
