Further to a review of the group insurance scheme with our insurance partners, George Burrows, detailed below are some important changes that will take effect from 1 May 2022.
The legal expenses cover will be provided by Arag, an established, experienced and award-winning provider of specialist legal expenses insurance and assistance products with experience in working with UK Police Federations. The claims line is 24 hour, 365 days per year, for personal tax and legal advice 0330 175 7928.
A counselling line will be provide by Vita Health Group https://www.vitahealthgroup.co.uk/ providing access to a trained councillor 24/7 for any matter that members may require by calling 0333 000 2082.
An online document service will also be provided for members and their resident partner.
The Group Insurance Scheme booklet includes further details of the new products and the full policy wordings are also available on our website. These products provide comprehensive cover at very competitive premium rates.
