32% of respondents said the force will be able to recruit officers as part of the national uplift

Pay and Remuneration:

70%of respondents said they were dissatisfied with their overall remuneration (including basic pay and allowances)

32% worry about the state of personal finances every day or almost every day

62% are worse off financially than five years ago

And 4% said they never or almost never have enough money to cover all their essentials

Morale:

54% of respondents said their morale is currently low

85% said morale within the force is currently low

66% would not recommend joining the police to others

8% said they intend to leave the police service within the next two years or as soon as possible
