Dear members,
As you may have seen, the force is currently supporting Safe to Say, a national campaign that aims to encourage colleagues in all roles to share their protected characteristics. We all have protected characteristics. They are the personal details that make us who we are.
By sharing your protected characteristics, this information helps us to understand what our force looks like and to see if we are representative of the communities we serve. By being representative, we can understand the key issues for our communities and work to address them.
The ED&I team have shared previous articles around why it is important to share your data.
The NPCC have also shared a short video around the campaign and that can be viewed here.
Thank you
